D2 Entrepreneur Visa

Portugal is actively encouraging emerging entrepreneurs to settle in Portugal and start an innovative enterprise.
In order to be eligible to apply for the D2, you’ll need to have an original idea and a solid business plan, as well as the capital. If you’re hoping to buy a bar, restaurant, or bed and breakfast, then this visa is not for you

D3 Highly Skilled Visa

The D3 visa, also called the Highly qualified activity visa, is suitable for foreign nationals with a qualification in a highly skilled category, spanning a wide variety of industries and disciplines. In order to be eligible to apply, you’ll have to meet at least one of three primary criteria:

  • offer of employment, or a signed job offer with a duration of 12 months or longer, and with an annual salary package that is at least 1.5 times the national minimum wage.

  • Hold a postgraduate qualification and/or professional certification in a regulated industry.

  • Hold a professional qualification that is highly specific and appropriate to a non-regulated profession.

D4 Study Visa

The D4 Visa caters for college or university students seeking to come to Portugal to further their tertiary education.

In order to obtain this Visa, you must be enrolled in a study course at an educational establishment in Portugal

D6 Family reunification

The D6 is the Portuguese Residency permit for family reunification, this covers the spouse of people who have residency under article 98, as well as article 15, spouse of EU citizen. If you hold legal residency in Portugal, you can apply for the D6 Visa in order to bring your spouse, dependent children under the age of 18, and your financially dependent parents over the age of 65 to Portugal

D7 Passive Income Visa

Frequently referred to as the Portuguese retirement visa, the D7, which we specialise in, is ideally suited for a range of applicants – provided that you can prove sufficient income, (must be passive) sourced from outside Portugal. The minimum income requirement for this visa, in 2024 is €820 per month, for a single applicant, and at least 50% on top for a married couple & 30% on top per dependent child.

D8 Digital Nomad Visa

To apply for this visa, you need
to present one of the following:
- For independent employment:
• The Articles of Association (if you have a registered company);
• Contract for the provision of services;
• Document demonstrating services provided to one or more entities.
- For remote workers:
• Employment contract;
• Employer's statement proving the employment relationship;
Additionally, the applicant needs to present:
• Proof of average monthly income earned in the exercise of professional activity
subordinated or independent in the last three months of a minimum value
equivalent to four minimum wage (4x820€) net per month
