I don’t usually write reviews. However I had to share my experiences with Ellie and Marco. These people are heaven sent! My wife and I used them to get a D7 and also a nomad visa. My wife and I hired them as a friend of ours referred them. They have helped from start to finish. Ellie would even calm my anxiety when I was worried about the massive paperwork. Marco drove us around looking at flats and gave honest opinions about each one. When we found the right one he even took us to a celebratory lunch. The personal touches are wonderful. So happy they have made our dream of moving to Portugal a reality!

Ellie Rose and Praia Club are PHENOMENAL!!!! Moving to another country is the most significant decision one or a family can make. From January-March, the application process (for us it was a very dense documented experience), legal issues, tax structures questions and pet transport connections, Ellie Rose became our guide and our muse and held our hands through it ALL. When I woke up in the middle of the night with “Oh my goodness what about….” she was there. When my mind persevered on, “But what if…” questions in the early evening (Ellie Rose’s middle if the night) she was there. WHEN I sent stupid memes about my anxiety she was there and she laughed! All I can say is wow!! With tight deadlines and high stakes Elizabeth and Marco worked magic. They know the Portuguese bureaucratic system inside and out. They are well connected from the legal to the immigration side. Elizabeth Sanches is the most amazing person I've never met in person. We've had numerous conversations though. We've been on an excursion, an adventure to fulfil my dream of moving to Portugal. My first visit to Portugal was in 1996 and from that time on, I knew I wanted, I needed to live here. Shortly after my fathers passing in April of 2022, and after going through the will and other fun family stuff, we began the process in earnest in 2023. I can’t say enough great things about Praia Club. I started my journey to move to Portugal about a year ago. Praia Club held my hand every step of the way from I’m thinking I would like to move to I’m moving to Portugal! It started with them getting my NIF swiftly and without incident. We did it all virtually with Ellie and Marco negotiating everything on my behalf from visiting the apartment to helping me turn on the lights, internet and going to ikea to pick up a bed. We had an excellent experience with Ellie, Marco and their team with our move from the US to Portugal! They assisted us with all aspects of the residency process from securing our NIF, opening a bank account, establishing economic activity, securing a wonderful annual rental, arranging utilities, and changing our address to apply for NHR.

Ellie and Marco were such a pleasure to work with - upfront, organized, responsive, knowledgeable and resourceful. We are so grateful that we chose Praia Club as our consultants. While you can follow a step-by-step guide from the available FB resources, there are many nuances in the process where direct support from Ellie and Marco was necessary to get certain aspects accomplished, especially within a short time frame. Since we do not (yet) speak Portuguese, it was also helpful to have their guidance and knowledge in translating and understanding documents and processes.

Plus, a friendly face giving you the keys to your new home is a great feeling when you arrive in a new country.
